How to reach us

By train

The Alessandria Railway Station is connected to the great communication lines North-South (Turin-Genoa-Rome and Turin-Bologna-Bari) and towards East (Novara-Milan). It is possible to refer to the Trenitalia web site for information about train timetables to get in Alessandria. From the station it is possible to reach the Gruppo Collegato site by bus.

By car

Alessandria is connected to the Motorways A21 (Torino-Piacenza) and A26 (Voltri-Gravellona Toce). The more convenient motorway toll booth is Alessandria Ovest on the A21; coming from Piacenza or Genoa it may be easier the toll booths Alessandria Est or Alessandria Sud, which however require a longer route in the city traffic. Exiting from  the Alessandria Ovest booth, turn right on the SS31 route and go straight on the SS10 route (Via Giordano Bruno); enter in the town and turn right on the Cittadella Bridge. After the bridge turn left on the Lungo Tanaro Solferino and go on to the turn-around, exiting from the third street in Lungo Tanaro Magenta. Go straight till the third crossing, then turn left in Via Teresa Michel. The first street on the left is Via Bellini, where the Faculty of Sciences is located.

By bus

From the Alessandria Railway Station it is possible to reach the Gruppo Collegato location by a bus of the Alessandria Public Transport (ATM). Out of the station, the bus stop is located on the sidewalk near the public garden. The easiest bus line is n. 4, which stops right in front of the Via Bellini entrance. As an alternative there is the bus line A, which however follows a longer route and stops on the square in front of the Faculty building. One-trip tickets can be purchased at the tobacconists or at the newsstand inside the railway station; tickets expire in 70 minutes.
