Open Grid Forum (OGF) This is a merger of the GGF and the EGA
Description
The GGF UR-WG (Usage Record Working Group) defines an XML-based standard data format for job usage (accounting) records. GGF URs can be used to exchange accounting information between different sites and grids, or between different accounting systems. The UR format builds also a basis for the work of the RUS-WG.
Relevance to EGEE
The exchange of accounting data in a common standard format may be of interest above all for collaborations with other projects, such as OSG.

Status
The UR specification document (version 1) has gone through public comment and the finalized version has now a "recommendation" status. A version 2 of the UR is planed and a survey regarding requirements and use cases has been planned for the near future.
